Sam Levine, a senior writer at Reink Media, is a longtime writer, investor and educator and has nearly three decades of experience in the investing industry. He has taught stock investing at both the graduate and undergraduate levels at Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business and holds two of the most widely recognized certifications in the investment management industry, the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Chartered Market Technician designations. He also has a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he was named Outstanding Senior of Psychology.

Sam was honored as a Volunteer of the Year by SEC Chairman Christopher Cox at the CFA Society of New York and served two terms on the CMT Association's Board of Directors, where he spearheaded licensing of the CFA Institute's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Sam also chaired the CMT Association's Rules committee and was a judge for the Charles H. Dow Award, the CMT Association's highest award for peer-reviewed research in technical analysis.
